Vikki Thompson – Chiropractor and Clinic Director

Vikki qualified from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic in 2007, working in clinics throughout Scotland before opening her own in Dalgety Bay in 2012. The clinic moved to its own premises in Rosyth in 2018. As a native Fifer, Vikki has always been keen to return to the Dunfermline area and offer quality Chiropractic care to its diverse population. Vikki enjoys treating people from all walks of life, with people of all ages benefiting from her care. With a knowledge and love of sport and sports injuries, she has completed and maintained her International Certificate in Sports Chiropractic. As a result she has travelled to various countries supporting hockey teams, horse riders, footballers and athletes. She now works with people at all levels of fitness and athletic ability, helping them acheive their optimum performance in whatever movment they enjoy.  Life experiences and clinic life has led to a particular interest in chronic pain conditions, and Vikki finds a particular satisfaction in helping those who suffer from Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and ME, as well as other chronic conditions. Completing further post graduate studies with Edinburgh University focusing on chronic pain and headaches has left her well placed to help these individuals. She plans on studying further in order to further her knowledge and provide as high a standard of care as possible. Vikki is qualified in Western Acupuncture, which she uses alongside Chiropractic adjustments to maximise results. She has also completed courses in Sacro-Occipital Technique, and has completed golf fitness instructor courses with the Titleist Performance Institute.

Vicky Pittman – Chiropractor

Vicky is originally from the South of England but is now thoroughly enjoying life living in Edinburgh. She qualified with a Masters of Chiropractic from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic in 2011 and before this she attained a BSc (Hons) in Sports Therapy from the University of Hertfordshire in 2004.  Vicky enjoys working with a variety of people but has a keen interest in pregnancy and post partum care as well as working with a variety of athletes whether it be the weekend warrior or a professional sports person. Vicky has attended a range of postgraduate pregnancy courses, has trained in Western Acupuncture, Sacro-Occipital and taping techniques as well as manipulation specific courses. She now uses a variety of treatment modalities alongside the traditional chiropractic adjustment to help optimise her treatment results. Whilst growing up Vicky was a member of both regional and national squads for artistic gymnastics and had a successful career spanning a decade winning medals nationally and internationally. She was inspired to join the chiropractic profession after receiving successful chiropractic treatment for a problematic ongoing back injury which nearly ended her career, and now enjoys being able to help others in the way that chiropractor helped her.

Glyn Thompson – Clinic Manager and Director

Glyn has covered a range of things within the clinic over the last few years including the day-to-day administrative tasks, cleaning, ordering of clinic equipment, and other building maintenance tasks. Although he will no longer be working in a patient-facing roll within the new clinic, he will be continuing with clinic administration and management behind the scenes. Glyn has a varied work history and experience of working with people from all walks of life, applying this to his interactions with new and existing patients when required. You may meet Glyn through the week in or around our clinic, or communicate with him on the phone/online and he is always happy to chat to patients.
