She has travelled all over the world working with hockey teams, horse riders, footballers and athletes. She also enjoys treating pregnant women and their lovely children!
Vikki is qualified in Western Acupunctur and massage, which she uses alongside Chiropractic adjustments to maximise results. She has also completed courses in Sacro-Occipital Technique, holds the International Chiropractic Sports Science Diploma (ICSSD), and has completed golf fitness instructor courses with the Titleist Performance Institute. Additionally, she has completed further training in the examination and treatment of pregnant women and their babies, toddlers, children and teenagers.
Vikki enjoys helping those suffering with back pain, neck pain and a variety of other ailments. Helping people return to a normal, pain free life is the best part of being a Chiropractor!
Vicky is originally from the South of England but is now thoroughly enjoying life living in Edinburgh. She qualified with a Masters of Chiropractic from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic in 2011 and before this she attained a BSc (Hons) in sports therapy from the University of Hertfordshire in 2004. Vicky enjoys working with a variety of people but has a keen interest in pregnancy and post partum care as well as working with a variety of athletes whether it be the weekend warrior or a professional sports person.
Vicky has attended a range of postgraduate pregnancy courses, has trained in western acupuncture, sacro-occipital and taping techniques as well as manipulation specific courses. She now uses a variety of treatment modalities alongside the traditional chiropractic adjustment to help optimise her treatment results.
Whilst growing up Vicky was a member of both regional and national squads for artistic gymnastics and had a successful career spanning a decade winning medals nationally and internationally. She was inspired to join the chiropractic profession after receiving successful chiropractic treatment for a problematic ongoing back injury which nearly ended her career. She now enjoys being able to help others in the way this chiropractor helped her many years ago.
