Vikki Thompson – Chiropractor and Clinic Director
Vikki qualified from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic in 2007, working in clinics throughout Scotland before opening her own in Dalgety Bay in 2012. The clinic moved to its own premises in Rosyth in 2018. As a native Fifer, Vikki has always been keen to return to the Dunfermline area and offer quality Chiropractic care to its diverse population.
Vikki enjoys treating people from all walks of life, with people of all ages benefiting from her care. With a knowledge and love of sport and sports injuries, she has completed and maintained her International Certificate in Sports Chiropractic. As a result she has travelled to various countries supporting hockey teams, horse riders, footballers and athletes. She now works with people at all levels of fitness and athletic ability, helping them acheive their optimum performance in whatever movment they enjoy.
Life experiences and clinic life has led to a particular interest in chronic pain conditions, and Vikki finds a particular satisfaction in helping those who suffer from Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and ME, as well as other chronic conditions. Completing further post graduate studies with Edinburgh University focusing on chronic pain and headaches has left her well placed to help these individuals. She plans on studying further in order to further her knowledge and provide as high
a standard of care as possible.
Vikki is qualified in Western Acupuncture, which she uses alongside Chiropractic adjustments to maximise results. She has also completed courses in Sacro-Occipital Technique, and has completed golf fitness instructor courses with the Titleist Performance Institute.

Whilst growing up Vicky was a member of both regional and national squads for artistic gymnastics and had a successful career spanning a decade winning medals nationally and internationally. She was inspired to join the chiropractic profession after receiving successful chiropractic treatment for a problematic ongoing back injury which nearly ended her career, and now enjoys being able to help others in the way that chiropractor helped her.
Glyn Thompson – Clinic Manager and Director
Glyn covers a range of things within the clinic including the day-to-day administrative tasks, cleaning, ordering of clinic equipment, and has also decorated a number of the clinic rooms since we opened. Glyn has a varied work history, and was most recently the director of a social enterprise providing an innovative system to aid people who are blind/partially sighted with navigating indoor and outdoor
spaces. Glyn has achieved his Level 3 certificate in British Sign Language (BSL) through his work as a Project Manager with national charity Deaf Action, and enjoyed the opportunity to expand his communication skills and improve access for people who use BSL as their first language.
In his spare time Glyn is the head coach of The Norries 2014 football team, and enjoys putting together fun and challenging sessions for the kids alongside other volunteer coaches. You will likely meet Glyn through the week on our reception, or communicate with him on the phone/online and he is always happy to chat to patients.
